How many mascots do you need?

So the official mascot at SDSU is the Aztec. Puma is a lovable jaguar. Now we have a frog?

Sad Day

So I just get off my home phone with my sister Leah about an hour ago. I head to the mall to relax and do a little mall walking and my iPad rings with an email from Vonage who translated my Grandma’s dog Charlie died today. I knew it was very bad in translating because I knew neither of my Grandmas had a dog. My Nanay had a dog named Charlie in the 1990’s, but she never seemed too broken up when he ran away. Certainly not to the level where it warranted Leah calling me only an hour after talking with her.

So I listened to the recorded message on the attachment, and found out my Grandma Doc died today. Grandma Doc Eudocia Chiong is my mom’s mom. I always share most major holidays with her and my cousins on that side. I regret missing her last birthday because of work. I will miss you Grandma.

Just a grooming tip. Jerry Garcia is not how you should model your personal style.

If you must have facial hair, make it like you groomed yourself by trimming your beard with a particular pattern. Wild hair must be combed and tamed, not look like you have been dropping acid since the 70’s. If you are still in your 20’s definitely stick to gels to control longer hair. No matter how much you comb it over when your older, you aren’t fooling anyone.

Most importantly try to keep within the normal realm of weight management. If you are approaching over 30% body fat, you need to take some steps to go back towards 20%. If your belly blocks your view of your penis, it is a good indication that you are approaching obesity.

The Rolando Street Fair.

Taking Duke out for a walk,  we go to the Rolando street fair. Duke sniffs every dog and child there. He is really enjoying the attention because he knows he is the coolest dog in the neighborhood. Street vendors, carnival rides, live bands and local merchants converge on Rolando Dr/El Cajon Bvld.. We got home before it started raining, which was nice.
